PURPOSE:To obtain the title toner having no turbidity in the color permitting its use for obtg. distinct color and requiring higher functions by incorporating particles of magnetic iron oxide derived from magnetotactic bacteria into color toner particles. CONSTITUTION:Particles of magnetic iron oxide derived from magnetotactic bacteria are incorporated into particles of a color toner. Since the bacteria contain plural numbers (10 - several tens) of magnetic bodies in the cell, the magnetic bodies are used as magnetic particles after separating the magnetic bodies consisting of iron oxide. The magnetic bodies have superior characteristics in its extremely fine and uniform particle size and high purity. The particle size of a toner is made finer by balancing the particle size of the toner to the particle size of the magnetic bodies thus, a magnetic toner capable of providing a picture image of high quality is obtd. Magnetic characteristics of the toner are made uniform, and its capacity for providing distinct color is maintained without generating turbidity in the color of the color toner. |
