PURPOSE:To produce a lengthy tape and improve the productivity by forming the slurry mixed with the property quantity of binder to the superconductive material powder into a tape shape by the tape casting method. CONSTITUTION:A blended material mixed with a compound containing alkaline earth metal elements, a compound containing rare earth elements, and a copper compound is temporarily baked and crushed into powder. Water or other solvent is appropriately added to this temporarily baked powder and an organic binder and mixed to obtain slurry. The slurry thus obtain is formed into a thin film raw sheet by the tape casing method, e.g., with a doctor blade device. This sheet is cut into tapes after being dried then baked in the air or oxygen atmosphere. The tape-shaped baked body thus obtained is cooled then annealed in the air or oxygen atmosphere to obtain a superconductive tape. The chemical composition expressed by a formula I is used for the material of this superconductive tape. |
