A latch (3) in a locking mechanism is deadbolt controlled from the door's inner side and via a toothed segment element (12) and a cylinder drive (11) is key controlled from the door's inner and outer side. The deadbolt mechanism actuates the latch via a deadbolt drive (16), a drive gear (17) with studs (17b, 17c) that engage with the toothed segment element (14). A special element (20) equipped with a locking device (20c) can be finger-actuated from the lock's door post side with the help of a pin (21). When the element (20) is driven into locking position, and the latch is locked, the deadbolt cannot be actuated from the inside. When the door is unlocked with a key, the element (20) is driven together with the locking device (20c) automatically to a release position.
