PURPOSE:To obtain the title filter module having excellent durability by filling a heat-resistant resin between the end of a bundle of porous hollow yarns and an outer cylinder having ruggednesses, and further sealing the end with a heat- resistant rubber sealant. CONSTITUTION:Plural porous hollow yarns 1 are inserted in parallel into the outer cylinder 2 made of stainless steel and having the inner rugged surface on both ends threaded and grooved 3 while making the end of the hollow yarn flush with the end of the inner cylinder. The heat-resistant resin 4 is filled between the outer cylinder and the hollow yarn on both ends, adhered to the hollow yarn, and not adhered to the outer cylinder. In addition, the leak through the gap due to the non-adhesion between the outer cylinder 2 and the heat- resistant resin 4 can be prevented by sealing the gap with the heat-resistant rubber sealant 5 such as a gasket. The hollow yarn filter module can be sterilized at a high temp. of >=120 deg.C, and is appropriately used in the fields of food to be sterilized, medicine, etc.
