PURPOSE:To circulate the mixed gas smoothly by a method wherein an oxidizing catalyst is formed in mesh and annularly provided around the cathode. CONSTITUTION:A mesh substance 5 produced by mesh formation of the oxidizing catalyst for reproducing CO increasing with time in the process of discharge into CO2 is annularly provided outside the cathode 2. Since the catalyst oxidizes and reproduces the CO in the mixed gas coming together in the neighborhood of the cathode with the best efficiency, and is particularly formed in mesh, it comes into good contact with the gas and smoothly flows because of no stagnation. Thereby, the CO in the mixed gas coming together in the neighborhood is oxidized and reproduced with the best efficiency, and the contact of the catalyst with the gas is excellent. Besides, its flow becomes smooth because of no stagnation. |
