PURPOSE:To execute a trouble forecasting model program which is provided beforehand and make it possible to judge whether or not a trouble has occurred by providing an electric current sensor which is installed in the electric power source circuit of an air conditioner, terminal unit for high-speed sampling, and central processing unit. CONSTITUTION:When an air conditioner 1 gets into stationary operation, a terminal unit 3 samples at a high speed the electric current values from an electric current sensor 2 and sends the electric current values to a central processing unit 4 at a fixed period. In this case, as for an air conditioner, etc., the value of the electric current passing through the electric power source circuit exhibits an abnormal change. By this change the electric current values which were sampled at a high speed contain information sufficient to reveal whether or not an abnormality exists in the air conditioner. In the central processing unit 4 a forecast model for diagnosing troubles is executed on the signals sent from the terminal unit 3, and when it is judged faulty, the maintenance personnel is informed of the content of the trouble and measures to be taken through an output device 5.
