发明名称 TAPE FOR RECORDING HOLOGRAM
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable continuous recording and real time reconstruction by using a side chain type liquid crystal high-polymer material as a tape material and executing writing of a hologram at the temp. of said liquid crystal or at which the liquid crystal attains an isotropic phase. CONSTITUTION:Part of the laser light emitted from a laser light source 1 projects a subject 2 and the reflected light enters the tape 4 for recording. On the other hand, the remaining laser light is reflected by a mirror 3 and is entered as reference light to the tape 4. The reflected light from the object and the reference light interfere with each other and generate an interference pattern on the tape 4. The side chain type liquid crystal high-polymer material of the tape 4 slightly generates light absorption to form a temp. distribution according to the light intensities thereof. This tape is heated by a heat block 5 and is set at the temp. at which the refractive index is maximized. The temp. distribution is written as a refractive index distribution on the tape 4. This distribution is recorded by detaching the tape 4 from the block 5 and passing the tape between coolers 6 to rapidly cool the same. The hologram can be reconstructed if the reference light is cast to the tape in this state or in the writing stage before the rapid cooling. The continuous recording is executed if the tape is successively deviated.
