PURPOSE:To improve the contrast of an image by providing at least two of photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers having specified photosensitive wavelengths, respectively, and by incorporating a yellow colored magenta coupler in one layer of said emulsion layers and a cyan coupler in an another one layer of said emulsion layers respectively. CONSTITUTION:The titled material comprises at least two layers of the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers mounted on a supporting body. One of the emulsion layer has the max. sensitive wavelength in a region of 600-700nm and contains the yellow colored magenta coupler, and another one of the emulsion layer has the max. sensitive wavelength in a region of 500-600nm and contains the cyan coupler. The emulsion layer is sensitized by a spectral sensitizing method in order to give the max. sensitive wavelength as mentioned above to the emulsion layer. And, the yellow colored magenta coupler is exemplified by a compd. shown by the formula. Accordingly, as the titled material is obtd. as mentioned above, the image having the good color contrast, reproducing red and green colors in addition to white and black colors, is obtd. |
