PURPOSE:To improve the contrast of an image by incorporating a yellow colored magenta coupler in combination with a cyan coupler in an emulsion layer, and by composing the emulsion layer of a monodispersion silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The monodispersion silver halide emulsion layer is formed by decreasing the range of the particle size distribution of photosensitive silver halide particles. And, the silver halide is exemplified by silver bromide, silver iodobromide, silver iodochlorobromide, silver chlorobromide or silver chloride, etc. And, the emulsion layer contains the yellow colored magenta coupler in combination with the cyan coupler. The yellow colored magenta coupler is composed of a compd. shown by the formula. Accordingly, the titled material is used for a color slide having the high density contrast, and the image having the high color density is obtd. by developing the titled material for a short period. |
