PURPOSE:To simplify braking, by short-circuiting a DC motor with a first transistor and a diode, when current fed to the DC motor is interrupted and the first transistor is turned ON. CONSTITUTION:So far as a DC motor driving circuit 10 is concerned, the input terminal 34 of control signal is connected to the base of a first transistor(TR1) via a resistor R1, and its collector is connected to the base of a second TR2 and is connected to a DC motor driving power input terminal 36 and the collector of the TR2 via a resistor 3. Then, to output terminals 44, 46 between the emitter of the TR2 and earth, a DC motor 20 and a first diode D1 are connected. Besides, to a space between the base and emitter of the second TR2, a second diode D2 is connected. As a result, by one signal from a controlling section, the driving and braking of the DC motor 20 can be performed, and so the mechanism of the driving circuit 10 is also simplified.
