发明名称 MIRROR MADE OF CARBON FIBER REINFORCED CARBON
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a mirror having excellent mechanical and thermals characteristics and heat resistance by using carbon fiber reinforced carbon as a base plate, bonding a glass mirror surface material on the surface thereof and providing a metal coating layer on this surface. CONSTITUTION:The glass mirror surface material 2 is bonded on one face of the base plate 1 made of the carbon fiber reinforced carbon and the metal coating layer 3 is provided on the surface thereof. The base plate 1 is formed by compounding at least one kind among PAN, pitch and rayon carbon fibers and carbon matrix simultaneously which are so laminated as to take one orientation selected from a group consisting of, for example, 0 deg./90 deg., 0 deg./+ or -45 deg./90 deg. and 0 deg./+ or -60 deg. (0 deg./0 deg. is equally satisfactory). The surface material 2 is glass having the coefft. of thermal expansion ranging -1.5-68X10<-7>/ deg.C. The thickness thereof is set from min 3mum up to <=1/5 the thickness of the base plate 1 as max. Au, Al, Mo, Cu or various alloy essentially consisting of these metals are used for the coating layer 3 and the thickness thereof is set at <=0.5mm. Said layer is further coated with a protective film consisting of SiO2, etc.
