PURPOSE:To prevent generation of cracks and pinholes and to prevent degradation in C/N and pit error rate (BER) by using an org. titanate compd. or shellac resin for an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:This recording medium is constituted by laminating the adhesive layer 2, a dielectric layer 3 and a magneto-optical recording layer 4 on a transparent plastic substrate 1. The adhesive layer 2 is the org. titanate compd. or shellac resin. Phosphite titanate or phosphate titanate are preferably used as the org. titanate compd. The shellac resin has preferably 65-100 acid value. The generation of the cracks and pinholes in the recording film is thereby obviated and the deterioration in C/N and BER is prevented as well.
