PURPOSE:To improve an operability by raising a canned product located on a movable table, thrusting the measuring needle of a pressure gage into the can, measuring an internal pressure and making a knockout pad to work in conjunction therewith when the movable table is lowered after the measurement. CONSTITUTION:An internal pressure inspecting instrument 1 for a canned product is provided with a vertically movable table 2 on which the can is located and a pressure gate 25 having a measuring needle 27 above the table 2. The table 2 is moved up and down by a driving unit 4. Two knockout support rods 6 for supporting a knockout and 7 are planted on the upper surface of the table 2 near its both sides. A centering guide 10, the pad 7 and the pressure gage 25 are adjusted in advance in accordance with the kind of the can. The table 2 is moved upward by operating a selector valve operating lever 15 and the internal pressure of the can is measured by the measuring needle 27. Then, when the table 2 is lowered by the lever 15, the pad 7 is also lowered to facilitate the separation of the canned product from the measuring needle.
