PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device at a low cost, by arranging laminating type piezoelectric-elements radially on the arms of a stator to be combined with each other, and by setting a rotor so as to surround the stator. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric motor 10 is composed of three laminating type piezoelectric-elements 11 composed of laminated piezoelectric ceramics, a stator 13 provided with three arms 12 in the shape of 'U' in the horizontal direction having containing grooves 12a, and a rotor 14 set to surround the arms 12. Said respective piezoelectric elements 11 are contained in said containing grooves 12a, and are arranged radially on the stator 13, and at the tip sections of the arms, stator contact sections 15 for working a pushing force against the inner peripheral surface 14a of the rotor are saliently arranged. As a result, by applying voltage to the piezoelectric elements 11 periodically and continuously, a force pushing the rotor 14 in the circumferential direction inclined to the external side with the stator contact sections 15 can be generated, and a device can be worked as the motor 10. |
