<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the heat-insulating ability by forming a subport between a recess formed in a housing disposed between a center housing and a turbine casing, and the turbine casing, and disposing a heat insulating gasket between the housing and turbine casing. CONSTITUTION:In a turbocharger 10, a housing 7 is disposed between a center housing 8 and a turbine casing 4 in a turbocharger, and a turbine scroll is composed of a main port 5 and a subport 6. Further, for the formation of the subport 6, a recess 19 is formed in a turbine casing attaching surface 21 in the housing 7 in the inner part thereof and a recess 25 is formed in a housing attaching surface 22 in the turbine casing 4 in the inner part thereof, which is formed therein with the main port 5. That is, the subport 6 is formed between both recesses 19, 5. The turbine casing 4 and the housing 7 are fastened together by fastening means 16 such as bolts or the like through the intermediary of a heat insulating gasket 23 which extends to the wall surface between the recesses 19, 25.</p> |
