PURPOSE:To raise the accuracy of water level detection by providing an electrode for detecting water level in the direction reverse to the direction of the fall of the water from a water column by means of an ultrasonic vibration element. CONSTITUTION:The valve 4 of a water tank 1 is pushed up against a spring 3 by a valve pusher 8 which is provided in the case 2 of the main body. By this pushing the water 6 in the tank 1 is led to the section of a vibrator 8 to keep the water level constant. When the vibrator 8 which is supported by a rubber ring 7 is actuated, a water column 9 is generated, and air that contains atomized water comes out from the discharge port 11 by sending air to the water column. On the other hand the water drops 10 which did not come out by sending air fall. A wire from an electric power source on (+) side is connected to an auxiliary electrode 12, and if water 6 immerses a detection electrode 13, a voltage is applied to the detection electrode owing to the electric conductivity of the water. When there is no water, and the water level becomes lower than the position of the detection electrode 13, the voltage of the detection electrode 13 becomes 0 volt, and this is detected. And, a lamp which alarms no water is lighted and the motion of the vibrator 8 is stopped.
