PURPOSE:To improve safety by installing a safety means which changes the adjustment of hot water supply temp. into a safe lower temp. zone automatically when the adjustment of the hot water supply temp. is in a temp. zone higher than a set one at the starting time of the hot water supply operation. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of the information of a set hot water supply temp. received from a control circuit 012 for the hot water supply temp. and the ON/OFF information of a water flow switch 06, whether a hot water supply temp. set by a hot water supply temp. control 020 exceeds a safe upper limit temp. set in the inside is identified after the two are compared. When the OFF information of the switch 06 is fed in the condition that the set hot water supply temp. exceeds the safe upper limit temp., a safety circuit 022 changing automatically a set temp. from the set hot water supply temp. Tx in the circuit 012 to a set standard temp. To which is lower than the safe upper limit temp. Ts is equipped. Thereby, unforeseen trouble such as the discharge of high temp. water caused by the condition that after the use of high temp. water a user does not return the adjustment in the hot water supply temp. to the low temp. side and that a next user starts the hot water supply can be avoided, whereby a burn accident is prevented.
