PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to install a plurality of signal input sections and make it possible to cope with various aspects of centralized control simply by providing an indoor unit with one switch and judging the state of the centralized control by the position of switching of switch means during receiving centralized signals. CONSTITUTION:A centralized control panel 45 which makes centralized control of the operation of respective indoor units B-F has a push button 45a as means of centralized control which outputs centralized control signals during the pressing down operation of the button 45a, and output signals from the push button 45a can be outputted to the controllers 40-44 of respective indoor units B-F. Respective controllers 40-44 are provided with signal input sections 40a-44a which receive centralized control signals from the centralized control panel 45 and rotary switches 50-54 as switching means. Respective rotary switches 50-54 have 10 switching positions which are suitably selected by operation knobs 50a-54a which are manually operated by the person who sets up the device or other person, and the positions of respective operation modes corresponds beforehand to the aspects of the centralized control by the centralized control panels 45.
