TIME BASE COMPRESSING AND MULTIPLEXING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To simplify the addition of burst to a reference signal whose time base is not compressed and multiplexed by adding each divided clock which divides a clock and passes through a gate circuit, and adding the result to the reference signal after passing through a filter. CONSTITUTION:A burst gate pulse H is generated from the clock B synchronizing with the reference signal 1 and generated plural clocks I and J except the burst gate pulse H are made to be a fixed logical value by dividing the clock B. Then after adding the respective clocks I and J passed through the gate circuit as a proper level through resistances 22 and 23, a high region component is restricted by a low-pass filter 24 and the proper wavy burst is produced and added to the reference signal 1. Thus, the reference signal added the burst being the reference of the time base for returning the time base compressed and multiplexed signal to an original signal by expanding the time base can be obtained.
