PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of board cord trunks to attain an economical system by connecting all terminals of a board cord trunk to the network switch side of an exchange. CONSTITUTION:A board cord trunk PCT has an operator terminal OP having one transmission terminal and one reception terminal, plural cord circuit terminals, and a terminal for supervisor, and all of these terminals are connected to a network switch NW of the exchange. When a switchboard terminating call incomes, a central controller CC 5 sends a switchboard terminating signal to a supervision table POS 2 and selects a board truns BDT 61 out of BDTs 61 and 63 and controls the network switch 4 so that busses between an incoming trunk ICT 81 and the BDT 61, between the BDT 61 and the 0th cord terminals of the PCT 1, and between the terminal OP of the PCT 1 and the POS 2 are set.
