PURPOSE:To obtain a good molded item, by opening a mold during a cooling process, blowing air both on the part of the molded item where cooling is not completed and on the part of the mold itself where temp. is still high and there by cooling both the mold item and the mold. CONSTITUTION:A air piping 6 is placed around a mold 1 and air-cooling nozzles are set on four parts of this air piping 6, which is connected with a compressor through an air hose 8. The mold 1 has a path for cooling water and after a resin is injected in a cavity, the mold 1 is cooled with the cycling cooling water and the molded item is thereby cooled. At a proper time in the course of the cooling process, a movable mold 3 is opened and air is blown on four corner parts from air-cooling nozzles 7 and incompletely cooled molded item and mold are forcibly cooled. After sufficient cooling and solidification of the molded item, the molded item is taken out. |
