PURPOSE:To prevent that fanfold paper is transferred along with slip paper, by blocking the transmission of rotation to a pin tractor mechanism only by revolving a guide plate member for inserting and guiding the slip paper from a receiving position to a paper insert and guide position. CONSTITUTION:After the printing of fanfold paper is finished, said paper is cut off along a perforation and a tractor driving shaft 32 is reversely revolved along with a platen 11 and the start end of the fanfold paper is returned to a tractor mechanism 4. When a guide plate member 3 is erected at a paper insert and guide position, the transmission of rotation to a tractor driving gear 38 by a clutch gear 27 is blocked and only the platen 11 is driven by a motor 12. After a follower pressure contact roller 24 is brought into contact with the platen 11 under pressure, slip paper is sent in along the guide plate member 3 from a guide path 17 and the platen 11 is transferred by predetermined quantity by a motor 12 or manual operation to make it possible to perform the printing of the slip paper. By this constitution, change-over operation can be easily and certainly performed at the use time of the slip paper while the fanfold paper is mounted.
