PURPOSE:To improve deviated magnetization suppressive effect and load response, characteristics, by superposing the waveform component of current, flowing through a primary winding, on the waveform of an output obtained from an error amplifying circuit. CONSTITUTION:A switching regulator device is constituted of an input smoothing circuit 3, a switching circuit 4, a transformer 5, a rectifying diode 6 and the like and supplies electric power, to a load. The control circuit of the switching regulator is constituted of an oscillating circuit 9, an error amplifying circuit 13, a PWM comparator circuit 14 and a dividing circuit 15. In this case, a current detecting circuit 11 is provided for the primary windings 5a, 5b of the transformer 5 to extract a current, proportional to the current of the current detecting circuit 11, from the output current of the error amplifying circuit 13. This current is passed through a resistor 10; thus the waveform of the voltage of both terminals of the resistor 10 and the waveform of oscillation of the oscillating circuit 9 are impressed on the PWM comparator circuit 14 to produce an on-off pulse. According to this method, the current balance of the switching circuit 4 may also coincide.
