PURPOSE:To attain segments in copying operation at every page and at every copy even at a printer equipped with no sorter and to improve the operation efficiency by recording successive pages by selecting different kinds of forms which are of the same size, but different in conveyance direction by a device capable of image recording on plural kinds of forms. CONSTITUTION:The picture recorder consists of a local area network (LAN) 1, a LAN interface 2 which communicates with the LAN, a compressing/ extending circuit 3 which compresses and extending image data, an MPU 4 which controls the whole device, a ROM 5 stored with a control program, a RAM 6 for a work area, and a bus line 7, and a scanner printer interface 9 which controls a scanner 10 and a printer 11 is connected to the line 7, and the MPU 4, ROM 5, and RAM 6 are connected through a high-speed bus line 8. Form cassettes in A4 horizontal direction or A4 vertical direction are selected according to an instruction from the MPU 4 through the interface 9 constituted as mentioned above. |
