PURPOSE:To generate a rated overload torque upon stalling, by a method wherein the concentration of current is limited when a synchronous motor stalls and the rate of deterioration of the torque of the motor is compensated by strengthening flux. CONSTITUTION:When the speed of the title motor enters the area of stall, a comparator 20 makes the level of the output thereof H level and output it to a flux compensator 21 and a torque current limiting commander 22. When the flux compensator 21 receives the output of H level from the comparator 20, the flux compensator 21 outputs a flux compensating value PHI to add it on a flux commanding value PHI. When the torque current limiting commander 22 receives the output of H level from the comparator 20, the commander 22 outputs a torque current limit commanding value to a variable limiter 23 as a limit value. Then, a torque current commanding value (igamma) is introduced into the variable limiter 23 and the output thereof is outputted to a vector rotating device 7. |
