<p>PURPOSE:To preheat suitably an FRP prepreg tape to a prescribed temperature, by arranging a preheater for preheating the tape in such a way that it can be moved to a position where it faces the tape or to a position where it is moved away from the above mentioned position. CONSTITUTION:In an FRP prepreg tape automatically sticking apparatus wherein the FRP prepreg tape 4 is preheated by the preheater 9, and is then pressed by a press roll 11 to be stuck on the surface of an object, the preheater 9 is arranged in such a way that it can be swung about a hinge 13 from a position where it faces the tape to a position where it is moved away from the former position. By a motor 14 that can be controlled by a signal issued in accordance with the sticking operation, the preheater 9 is moved to the position where it faces the tape 4 when the tape 4 is travelling or to the position where it is moved away from said position when the tape 4 is stopped. Thus, the tape can be preheated suitably to a prescribed temperature.</p> |
