<p>PURPOSE:To bring a tape into a positive contact with the surface of an object so as to cause the tape to be stuck thereon, by a press roll apparatus wherein a press roll is rotatably supported by a plurality of bearings mounted through a resilient body to a shaft. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 13 is attached to a stay 12 that can be movable in a pressing direction and is forced in said direction. The plurality of said bearings 15 are attached to said shaft 13 through the resilient body 14, and the press roll 9 in the shape of a hollow cylinder is attached to said bearings 15. Thus, since the press roll 9 can be deformed in conformity with the shape of an object 10 where the tape will be stuck, the tape 1 can be positively brought into firm contact with the surface of the object 10 and is stuck thereon.</p> |
