PURPOSE:To continuously print only a sentence desired to be printed by simple key operation, by mounting an output means for continuously outputting only the characters or character rows of a plurality of the places indicated by an indication means from a memory means. CONSTITUTION:A ' ' key 15b and a ' ' key 15c are keys indicating the start and finish of editing printing and sentence data is outputted to a printing control code judge part by operating the ' ' key 15b of a step A01 and, in a step A02, the presence of a ' ' code is judged at the position of said data. When there is no ' ' code, the step A01 is again taken but, when there is the ' ' code, a step A03 is employed to transmit the next positioned sentence data to the judge part. When a character code is judged in a step A04, said code is outputted to a thermal head driving circuit in a step A05 to be subjected to printing processing in a step A06 and the steps A01-A06 are repeated to print a character row. Next, when a ' ' code is judged in the step A04, the step A01 is employed and the processing of the steps A01-02 is repeated to omit printing until the ' ' code is read.
