PURPOSE:To keep water absorbability and to enhance deodorizing capacity, by using a powdery mixture consisting of an amphoteric metal weak acid salt or oxide, an amphoteric metal strong acid salt and an anionic polymer water absorbent. CONSTITUTION:A deodorant composition is composed of a powdery mixture consisting of an amphoteric metal weak acid salt or oxide, an amphoteric metal strong acid salt and an anionic polymer water absorbent. The amphoteric metal oxide is metal oxide acting on an acid as a base and acting on the base as the acid and there are oxides of zinc, cadmium, aluminum, indium, tin, germanium, lead, arsenic or antimony and the amphoteric metal weak or strong acid salt means a weak or strong acid salt of each of said metals generating amphoteric oxide. |
