PURPOSE:To prevent a motor driving a feeding roller from being over-heated and stepped out by allowing a grinding section to abut against the surface of a form feeding member for the specified period of time by the command of a control means, and separating thereof at the time of normal form feeding. CONSTITUTION:A feeding roller 14a made of rubber feeds a form by means of friction force acting on the form abuting against the surface thereof. A holder 35 on the tip end of which a grinding member 33 is fixed, is rotatably supported by a pivot 352 in the vicinity of the aforesaid roller 14a, at the time of normal feeding, a grinding section driving member 5 is driven by an operating member 1 through a control means 2 for pushing down the lever 36 of a solenoid 38, thereby separating the griding member 33 from the feeding roller 14a. Then, the feeding roller 14a is rotated by a member driving means 3 before a copying action is processed, the lever 36 is raised up with the solenoid excited for the specified period of time, the grinding member 33 is allowed to abut against the feeding roller 14a by means of a weight 34 so as to grind the surface for a short time for recovering friction force. This constitution prevents a driving motor for the feeding roller from being over-heated and stepped out.
