PURPOSE:To clearly identify the alarm emergency grade information and also to build up an economical alarm system for telephone exchange by adopting voice synthesis information for emergency grade information of alarm. CONSTITUTION:Three sets of alarm earth signals ALM00, ALM01 and ALM02 are used as critical, major and minor alarm class signals. For example, a level conversion circuit 11 receiving the alarm earth signals ALM00, ALM01 outputs output signals ALM10, ALM11 as '1' and ALM12 as '0'. A voice synthesis circuit 12 receiving them outputs a voice synthesis signal from a corresponding figure illustrated representing 'critical and major alarm are in progress' corresponding to '1', '1', '0' for the signals ALM00, ALM01 and ALM02 respectively. The voice synthesis signal is amplified by an amplifier 13, amplified by a speaker 14 and informed to the maintenance personnel.
