PURPOSE:To eliminate occurrence of chattering or surges at the time of switching a connection by providing a switch for automatically grounding a feeder path in a state that the current of a first feeder path is vanished in a branch device for switching the connections of three feeder paths. CONSTITUTION:When a second feeder path 2 is connected to a first feeder path 1 in a branch device for switching to connect the second or third feeder path to the first path 1, the third path 3 is grounded, and when the third path is connected, the second path 2 is grounded. When an opening/closing switch 8 is connected to the first path 1 and the current of the first path 1 is vanished, the first path 1 is automatically grounded. Thus, when the connection is switched, no potential difference occurs between the path 2 or 3 which is connected newly and the path 1 to prevent surges or the like from occurring.
