<p>PURPOSE:To shorten time necessary for moving a binder by constructing the binder arranged in a processing unit so that it can move to a predetermined position of recording paper corresponding to the size of recording paper to be processed and moves by a distance close to the width of recording paper prior to binding motion. CONSTITUTION:Upon elapse of predetermined time after turning ON of a copy button, two binders 60 move through sliding members 57, 58 in the direction of a puncher 50, and a binder moving motor M3 rotates by such amount as the binder 60 is moved to a position slightly at the outside of paper size. A side board gap regulation motor rotates by such amount as a sideboard is moved to the position of paper size. When two binders 60 are moved by such distance as close to the width of selected recording paper prior to binding work, they are required to move slightly to regular binding position when binding work is started, and thereby binding work can be started immediately resulting in shortening of processing time.</p> |
