PURPOSE:To shorten the holding time of a line, to execute the accumulation of information, to use a word processor and to process the information by adding a floppy disk drive to a facsimile terminal. CONSTITUTION:When information are received by facsimile communication, the communication information are received from a communication circuit 1 through a line control part 2 in an information reception processing part 3 and they are outputted to a designated output medium by a switch SW1. When a paper 9a is designated, the information are printed out on the paper 9a by a paper printingout part 5. When a floppy disk 10 is designated, the new file of the reception information is prepared and it is accumulated to a disk 10. When the information are transmitted by facsimile communication, an input medium is designated by a switch SW2. When a paper 9b is designated, the information are read by a paper reading part 7. When the floppy disk 10 is designated, the file is read by an FD input part 8 from the floppy disk 10 and sent out respectively through an information transmission processing part 4 and the line control part 2 on a communication line 1.
