PURPOSE:To realize the sure recognition and transmission of voices by always keeping a handset mike under an ON state in a recognition mode where the aural dialing actions are possible so that the reduction of the head voice signal level is avoided when the voices are recognized. CONSTITUTION:A voice input means 496 is provided together with a voice recognizing means 422a which recognizes the voices supplied to the means 496, a voice switch means 422, and a transmission means which reads a telephone number corresponding to the voices out of a telephone number memory means and carries out a calling action in response to said telephone number. The means 422 activates the function of the means 496 when the voices are supplied to this means 496, stops the function of the means 496 when no voice is supplied to the means 496 in a calling state, and then activates again the function of the means 496 if no voice is supplied to this means 496 when voices are recognized respectively. Thus the means 496 is set in an active state even with no input of voices when the voices are recognized. As a result, the reduction of the head voice signal level is avoided when the voices are recognized.
