<p>PURPOSE:To improve coordinate entry accuracy by adopting the constitution in which an entry panel board is placed onto for supports, detecting the support condition as to 4-point support or 3-point support in depressing the panel board, and detecting the coordinate to be depressed depending on a coordinate calculation formula in matching with the support condition. CONSTITUTION:The titled device consists of the panel board constituting a face for coordinate entry, four supports 2-5 supporting the panel board 1 by 4 points, force detectors 6-9 detecting respectively to the force exerted to the supports 2-5, and a coordinate calculation circuit 11 calculating the coordinate of a point on the panel board 1 with the force applied thereto by means of the output signal of the force detectors 6-9 while switching automatically the coordinate calculation formula depending whether the panel board 1 is supported by the four supports 2-5 or supported by the three supports of the four supports. A switching means is used to change over the case of whether the panel board 1 supported by the 4 supports or supported by the 3 supports, and the coordinate calculation circuit 11 calculates the coordinate according to the changeover.</p> |
