PURPOSE:To effectively melt resist with a brushlike electrode as an anode in a bath filled with electrolyte by bringing the electrode into contact with a printed substrate having an independent plating resist on an insulator and moving the electrode or the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A conductive carbon fiber 1 is finely cut, radially inserted to the periphery of a cylinder to manufacture a brushlike electrode 2. The supporting shaft 1 of the cylinder is conducted to the fiber 1. The electrode 2 is rotatably disposed in a bathtub 4 in which electrolyte is filled, and connected to an anode. A printed substrate 5 in which plating resist, such as solder adheres in an independent state to the pattern of the surface is placed on many rolls 6, moved in a direction of an arrow, the rotating electrode 2 is brought into contact with the surface of the substrate 5 and the tip of the fiber 1 is abutted on an independent resist part 7. When a predetermined decomposing voltage is applied with the electrode in the bath used as an anode, the part 7 in contact with the fiber 1 is dissolved, and ionized tin and lead are precipitated on a cathode plate 9. |
