PURPOSE:To permit plants to grow in uncultivated land by a method in which a bag having a young tree in it is set in a planting hole, and the bag is cut and filled with soil. CONSTITUTION:A vertically long synthetic resin film bag 1 having many small holes 2 in its side is packed with culture soil 4. A young tree 3 is set in the bag and the mouth of the bag is closed by binding. Water is then supplied to the bag for conditioning and the bag 1 is set in a planting hole 8 excavated in the slope. The bag 1 in the hole 8 is cut and filled with soil. The vegetating work can thus be made possible even in uncultivated ground containing lesser nutrient.
