<p>PURPOSE:To transmit a series of control code for plural equipment by the operation of only one abbreviation button by storing plural control codes as one group and providing the abbreviation button reading them in a prescribed sequence and sending them. CONSTITUTION:The remote control transmitter is set to a mode and an operation button is depressed, the function code displayed on the operation button is read from a program ROM 4 and sent from a remote control transmission section 3. In registering the code of VTR reproduction on the abbreviation button, the preset button is turned on, the assigned abbreviation button is depressed, a character selection button is operated and VTR reproduction is displayed on the corresponding display section. The mode is set to a TV mode, the power button is depressed and a video button is depressed. The mode is set to a VTR mode, the power button is depressed and then the PLAY button is depressed successively and the preset button is turned off finally. When the abbreviation button is depressed, the code is read in the order of TV ON video VTR ON VTR reproduction and sent from the remote control transmission section 3.</p> |
