PURPOSE:To tightly contact even an original which is thick like a book etc. and which is difficult to tightly contact an original platen by providing a pressu rizing means on an original cover. CONSTITUTION:In an image processor installing the original cover 20 on the original platen 2 so as to freely open and close it, the pressurizing means is provided on the original cover 20. As for the original cover 20 the cover main body 22 is constituted of a main body frame member 22a having comparatively deep depth, a main body edge member 22b and a shell member 22c and many mutually and closely arrayed blocks 23 are held in the original cover 20. And one end of a block pressing spring 25 which always energizes the blocks 23 downward abuts on the back end part of the blocks 23. Thus, a black frame does not occur by abutting the original on the original platen along the periphery of the original, especially, even in the thick original and a copying action time can be shortened by improving the operability.
