PURPOSE:To intuitively grasp a trimming range by providing a recording means for recording an area specified by an area specification means in a visible form on the surface of a film. CONSTITUTION:The titled camera is an automatic trimming camera with the area specification means for specifying a certain area in the photographing range of an object recorded on the surface of the film and it provides a means for recording the area specified by the area specification means in the visible form on the surface of the film. For example, if a trimming area specification switch 6 is operated, a set of frames provided in a liquid crystal display device is driven by a liquid crystal driving device and it is displayed in a finder by a total reflection mirror 10, a half mirror 9 and an eyepiece lens 8 by receiving illumination from a light window 3. Thus, the range can be intuitively grasped just by viewing a developed film.
