PURPOSE:To improve the trouble about the application and the preservation of the titled material by providing a green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. a specified coupler and a monomethine cyanine dye in the titled material. CONSTITUTION:At least one layer of the green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contains the coupler shown by formula I and the monomethine cyanine dye. In formula I, Z is a nonmetal atomic group necessary for forming a heterocyclic ring contg. a nitrogen atom., X is hydrogen atom. or a group capable of releasing by allowing to react with the oxidant of a color developing main agent, R is hydrogen atom. or a substituent group. Thus, the improvements about the two different fields of the improvement in the processing step of the trouble about the application and the improvement in the preservation at the prescribed condition which is the measure of the secular stability, makes possible. |
