CONSTITUTION:The titled device is a reflection type projecting device which enlarges to project an image formed on the transmissive type liquid crystal displaying element by placing the transmissive liquid crystal displaying element, where the images of characters and patterns, etc., are formed, on the reflection type Fresnel lens and illuminating from the transmissive liquid crystal displaying element side so as to reflect with the reflection type Fresnel lens 2 and it provides the transmissive liquid crystal displaying element 3 whose thickness of the lower substrate is <=0.5mm and the package member 12 installing the elastically pressing part 12b which holds the transmissive liquid crystal displaying element 3 and the reflection type Fresnel lens 2 in a contact state as one body. Thus, the gap does not occur between the liquid crystal displaying element and the Fresnel lens by pressed on a condition that degree of contact is good, especially, in case of a plastic film.
