PURPOSE:To repair a surface flaw itself of a transparent resin medium by applying the resin on the surface of an information recording disk, using a blade to make the resin flat and solidifying the information recording disk 1 by means of an ultraviolet radiation device. CONSTITUTION:An ultraviolet curing resin (resin) is applied by a proper quantity depending on the degree of the flaw of the information recording disk 1 by a dispenser 5. After the resin is applied, the information recording disk 1 is rotated while keeping contact with the blade 7, the resin projected to the surface flaw 6 of the information recording disk 1 is absorbed and made flat. Then ultraviolet rays are radiated by the ultraviolet radiation device 11 to solidify the resin. Thus, the flaw itself formed on the surface of the recorded information recording disk is corrected.
