PURPOSE:To extract a jacket surely with a simple mechanism by using a stopper to block the jumping-out of a disk medium when a disk is ejected from a disk characteristic measuring device, and clipping the jacket vertically at the seal opening side of the disk medium in the extraction. CONSTITUTION:At the front side of the disk characteristic measuring device 1 jacket extraction guide members 5, 6 are provided which contains a disk medium 2 and whose jacket 3 supports a floppy disk 4 in the seal opening state. When the disk is ejected from the disk characteristic measuring device 1, the disk medium 2 is blocked for its jumping out by a stopper 8b, and the jacket 3 is clipped in vertical direction in the ejection operation at the seal opening side of the disk medium 2. Thus, no jumping-out of the disk medium takes place from the jacket after that, and the jacket is extracted surely with a simple mechanism.
