PURPOSE:To reduce impure gas to be emitted and to improve unevenness of the value of resistirity of a thermistor chip, by tightly sealing a metal piece made of a conductive getter and a pair of slug leads electrically holding the thermister chip and the metal chip in a glass container. CONSTITUTION:A pair of slug leads 3 are electrically connected to the other electrode 1b of a thermister chip 1 and to the other end of a metal piece 2 and these slug leads 3 are further connected to a wire 4 respectively. And, in order to airtightly hold the thermister chip 1, the metal piece 2 and the slug leads 3, these are tightly enclosed in a glass container 5. Here, for instance, the dumet wire 4, which is approximate to the glass container 5 in the coefficient of thermal expansion, is desirable to be used for the wire 4 connecting to the slug leads 3. Furthermore, porous alumina is arranged in an air gap inside this glass container.
