PURPOSE:To easily and surely connect the input terminal of a corona discharger and the output terminal of a high voltage power supply device by connecting these input terminal and output terminal through a bar-shaped metal member, which is slidably constituted on a chassis, between them to supply a high voltage to the corona discharger. CONSTITUTION:When a corona discharger 2a supported by a unit enclosure 17 together with a photosensitive member 1 is inserted to a device main body in the direction of an arrow X, an input terminal 11 of a corona discharger 2a is pressed by a high voltage power supply device 13 and is abutted wit a bar-shaped metallic member 20 abutting with a output terminal 14. Consequently, the input terminal 11 and the output terminal 14 are connected and the supply of a high voltage to a corona discharger 18 is possible. When the corona discharger 2a is moved in the opposite direction of an arrow X and is pulled out of the device main body, the input terminal 11 is disconnected from the bar-shaped metal member 20 to disconnect terminals. Thus, the corona discharger 2a is only inserted to and puled out of the device main body to connect and disconnect the corona discharger 2a and the high voltage power supply device 13.
