PURPOSE:To improve the state of holding an electronic copying machine main body and to enhance the improvement of operability by mounting the electronic copying machine main body installing a cover which can be opened and closed, on one side of an original placing table on a supporting base through a turning means. CONSTITUTION:The main body 11 of the electronic copying machine E installing the cover 27 which can be opened and closed on one side of the original placing table 5 is mounted on the supporting base 12 through the turning means A. And a vertical supporting axis 13 and a bearing 14 constituting the turning means A are provided on the proper position of the supporting mount 12 which supports the main body 11 which can be turned to an optional position with the supporting axis 13 and the bearing 14. Thus, the operations of the replenishment of forms to a paper feeding tray and the fetching of copies from a paper discharging tray and various operations related to the above-mentioned operations or the operation of discharging jamming paper in the main body can be effectively executed as the electronic copying machine positions in an original front position without making an operator access to the side or the rear part of the main body.
