PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a program debug by displaying a relative address which is converted by a converting means, and a name of a program module from identifying information, as track information at the time of the generating a trap. CONSTITUTION:A module head identifying word 4-iM is provided at every program module 4-i being an assemble unit of a program, and when a trap is generated, this module head identifying word 4-iM is searched by a module search control part 3 from an absolute address of an instruction which will be its cause, and based on the searched module head identifying word 4-iM, an in-module relative address is calculated by an address converting part 2. This calculated in-module relative address and a module name extracted from in the searched module head identifying word 4-iM are informed to a trap information display part 1 and displayed as trap information on a display device 7. In such a way, a work for calculating the module and the in-module relative address one by one from the displayed absolute address as the trap information by using a link map becomes unnecessary.
