PURPOSE:To perform the terminal treatment automatically by placing a cable clamp on a terminal installing machine, and then placing a cutter and the No.2 cable clamp in front of the clamp, and further equipping here a waterproof tube inserting unit and the terminal installing machine so that they confront each other. CONSTITUTION:A cable W is moved by virtue of the swinging movement of roller 2. When the cable in a prescribed length is sent out, the No.1 clamp 3 is closed, and the cable W is cut by a cutter 4, and then, a starting cut is made onto one end of the covering, and further, the covering is stripped off by the backward movement made by the clamp 3. Subsequently, the clamp 3 makes the forward movement, and causes a terminal installing machine 5 to function so that a terminal is fitted on to the cable. When the cable W equipped with the terminal is sent out by a prescribed length, the cutter 4 is closed so that a piece of the cable equipped with the terminal is cut off. A cable clamp 7 is caused to make a swinging movement 45 degrees counter- clockwise. Since a waterproof tube is caused by the exciting motion of a parts feeder 8 to come to the lowermost end of a guiding groove, a parts holding part is inserted into the hole of the waterproof tube. By using air pressure, the waterproof tube is clamped. Thereby, a terminal treatment can be performed automatically. |
